Employee Ownership and Organizational Outcomes  - CLEO Skip to main content

Summary

The relationship between employee ownership and desirable organizational outcomes is well documented, but the cause, if any, is not. Answering the question of causality requires data from two levels of analysis. The solution herein is: (1) a causal model that is generic enough to be tested using data gathered by dispersed investigators testing their own specific models; and (2) a research design that eliminates threats to internal validity plaguing single-level research.
